Invisalign® utilizes 3-D computer technology with clear, plastic removable “aligners” to move teeth at a rate similar to traditional braces, but without any metal or wires. The “aligners” can be removed to eat and clean your teeth and are generally undetectable when worn. The computer imaging technology can predetermine and develop a treatment plan from the initial position of the patients teeth to their final desired position. From this a series of custom-made “aligners” are fabricated. Each “aligner” moves teeth incrementally and is worn for about two weeks, then replaced by the next in the series until the final position is achieved.
For years, orthodontists and dentists have used removable appliances for limited treatment. Now Invisalign treats a broader range of cases with greater precision. The principal difference is that Invisalign not only controls forces, but also controls the timing of the force application. At each stage, only certain teeth are allowed to move, and these movements are determined by the orthodontic treatment plan for that particular stage. This results in an efficient force delivery system.
Most people experience temporary, minor discomfort for a few days at the beginning of each new stage of treatment. This is normal and is typically described as a feeling of pressure. It is a sign that Invisalign is working – sequentially moving your teeth to their final destination. This discomfort typically goes away a couple of days after you insert the new “aligner” in the series.
This procedure is especially popular for adults who previously had orthodontic treatment when they were younger and have experienced regression as they’ve aged. Rather than repeat the inconveniences and discomfort of braces all over again, Invisalign provides an appealing alternative.
A common concern is whether or not this treatment is covered by dental insurance. Because dental benefits differ significantly from policy to policy, each patient should review their coverage. However, if a patient has orthodontic coverage, Invisalign should be covered to the same extent as conventional braces. When treatment is complete, some patients might need a positioner, or conventional retainer. Other patients might need a clear plastic retainer similar to the ones Invisalign makes. Please discuss these possibilities with our office. Every patient is different and outcomes vary. Call our office to discuss your invisalign options in Arlington

I previously had braces on before and am looking to get Invisalign to correct a gap between my two front teeth. I have a dentist that says he can fix it in 6 months in Columbia Md, but with me being stationed at Andrews Afb I would like somewhere more affordable and closer to home. If you are still having the special on Invisalign, I would greatly appreciate an email back about a possible consultation.
Jasmine,
Yes we can take a look at your dentition and come up with a game plan. Please call us to make your free consult to discuss your options with Invisalign.

Two of my top front teeth have had bonds as a result of chipped teeth. Is it still possible to get invisalign with teeth that have been bonded? Thanks.
Micahael,
Yes Invisalign can still be done with bonding or veneers on the front teeth. Keep in mind that you will not be able to bleach your teeth. Bondings do not whiten with bleaching products

Two options would be to move the teeth using Invisalign. The other option would be to have crowns or veneers placed on the teeth to “instantly” remove the gap. Give us a call for a free consultation to see what would work best in your case.

Hey. I have a slight over bite and few of front teeth need to be aligned. Is this considered a mild case? Also how much does the whole process usually cost including initial x-rays and other treatments needed?
thanks.
Sofe,
The $2590 includes xrays, consult, attachments, retainer, whitening, etc. Overbite is corrected all the time with mild treatment.

What is a rough estimate of cost for moderate cases. My upper teeth are for the most part straight (with the exception of one tooth, but my lower teeth have moderate crowding and I’m assuming will need more correction.
Thank you
Katherine,
Depends on your definition of “moderate” Come by the office for a quick free consult to see what we can do for you.

Do you do/recommend invisalign for children (preteen)?
Invisalign does work for teenagers. I wouldn’t recommend it for all teenagers. Maturity does play a large part in invisalign and should be a 3 way decision with the patient, parent, and dentist.
I have gaps for my upper and lower teeth. Does the invisalign work fo that?
and the amount $259o includes everything or else do I need to pay any amount out of my pocket.

Hello i have a huge overbite on my top tooth and i was wondering is that a mild ase?
Sarah,
Yes gaps can be closed in a mild case.
I love my front gap (it’s my inheritance). However, as I’ve grown older spaces have come between my other teeth, I think due to some I had pulled and never replaced. Can Invisalign fix the spaciness in my teeth in general while not exactly closing the gap entirely (it is a lot larger than it used to be so I wouldn’t mind it closing some). Thanks!
Hi,
Is the $2590 special for Invaslign Express still available?

Can I use my dental insurance to help me pay?
Is the $2590.00 Invisalign special still active? How many check-ups or follow up appointments are required during treatment? As of Jan 1, I will no longer reside in the Arlington VA area; however, I LOVE Roca Dental.
does the cost of invisalign vary or is it one set price
The 2,590 applies to express. If you dont qualify for express then there are different price options. Please come in for a consult to see what needs to be done.
I have a gap in between my two top front teeth. I was given a recommendation for braces but I want to know what makes a person qualify for Invisalign or even Invisalign Express. I thought it was as simple as you telling the orthodontist/dentist what you want.
No, the dentist has to make the judgement call if you qualify for Invisalign.
Do you still offer this deal for invisalign? I had braces when I was in high school but my teeth has shifted a lot. Will invisalign be able to fix this problem?
Yes this deal is still on. Invisalign does a great job for people that forgot to wear their retainer after braces.
I have a gap between my top teeth and I would like to close the gap however my bottom teeth are relatively straight. I know the invisalign treatments will include both top and bottom treatments. I have orthodontic coverage with my insurance. Does the office accept insurance for the $2950 rate? Please advise.
Yes they do. Best way to confirm is the number on the back of your insurance card.
I know it has been a while since someone last asked, but is this $2,590 invisalign special still available?
Yes the deal is still on.
I just want to confirm that the special for invisalign is still available for $2,590? And can i use my insurance to cover this special?
